Heritage

Historic buildings are our legacy and we have an obligation to ensure that past generations of tradition and skills are retained for our future longevity and enjoyment. A combination of past traditional skills,Heritage conservation learning, and current building methods, coupled with performance standards appropriate to today’s legislation enable us to protect the long term use and viability of our heritage buildings.

DTL are able to support and track these principles by offering a range of engineered doorset products that can replicate traditional construction methods and design whilst meeting the stringent demands of today’s Building Regulations. Options include internal and external doorset assemblies with raised & fielded panels or flat panels with bed mould detailing to match existing installations. Typically, doorsets can be fire resistant and smoke control rated with vision panels and incorporated within screens. Materials, in the main, are environmentally certified hardwoods and softwoods from FSC/PEFC chain of custody approved origins.
